INGREDIENTS

2 tomato

3 green chilli

2 medium potato

2 cup lotus seed pops

0 sendha namak as required

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

2 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

2 handfuls coriander leaves

0 sev as required

2 handfuls roasted peanuts

2 teaspoon ghee

How to make Makana Chaat

Step 1

To begin with this easy recipe, heat a pan and add ghee. Once the ghee is hot enough and add the lotus seeds (Makhana). Toss it well till it turns brownish in colour.

Step 2

In the meantime, take all the veggies and wash them well. Cut and chop them well. Assemble all the ingredients in a bowl.

Step 3

Next, take a bowl and lemon juice, red chili, sendha namak and rest of ingredients. Mix it well and add the tossed makhana along with fresh coriander leaves, green chilies and season with salt. Garnish with peanuts and enjoy.
