How to make Baked trio (Baked Tiranga Halwa)

Step 1

To begin with this easy recipe, wash and grate the veggies separately and keep aside. Next, grate and keep these three veggies in different bowls and begin with the cooking preparations.

Step 2

Begin with cooking beetroot halwa, heat a pan and add in ghee. Meanwhile, blend the grated beetroot. Now, roast the mixed nuts and dry fruits in ghee and sugar, keep cooking it for 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

To the same pan, add in beetroot puree and caramelize the beetroot, cook for 5 minutes and add milk and stir till it forms a thick mixture. Keep stirring, so that it does not stick to the wok. When it is done, remove and arrange in a plate at the bottom side.

Step 4

Next, begin with the Cucumber halwa, heat ghee in a wok and add the cucumber to sauté for 5 minutes. Add the milk, sugar and keep on stirring. Once the milk dries up, add khoya and mix well till it starts to make a thick mixture. Remove when it is done and add it as a second layer.

Step 5

To prepare Carrot Halwa, begin heating ghee in a wok and add the grated carrots to sauté for 5 minutes. Now add the milk and sugar to it. Stir till it forms a thick mixture. Keep stirring to avoid sticking to the mixture.Remove and arrange this above the Cucumber halwa, giving it a Tiranga effect. Garnish with dry fruits and nuts. Lastly, bake for 3-4 minutes and serve hot!
