INGREDIENTS
1 litre milk
1 cup low fat cream
2 Pinches saffron
1 cup flaked almonds
1 cup almonds
2 tablespoon lukewarm milk
1/2 cup jaggery syrup
1 teaspoon ghee
0 pistachios as required
How to make Badam Kesar Kheer
Step 1
To begin with this easy recipe, take 1 cup flaked almonds and dry roast. Next, to the same pan, add 1 teaspoon ghee and roast 1 cup almonds and keep it aside.
Step 2
Next, take another pan and boil 1 liter milk and allow it to turn thick. Then add in flaked almonds, 1 cup low fat cream and cook the mixture. In the meantime, soak 2 pinches of saffron strands in lukewarm and add this to the kheer.
Step 3
Next, crush whole almonds and add to the kheer, cook till it turns thick. Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down and add the dates jaggery syrup. Mix it well and refrigerate. Garnish with pistachios and serve chilled !
